What is Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of John?

Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of John is a six-week journey into deeper intimacy with God through praying with the words of John the Evangelist. This beautiful 60-page journal inspires meditation on a daily verse from John, encouraging participants to respond through words, images, or however the Spirit leads. Subscribe online to also receive a daily short video in which a monastic brother from the Society of Saint John the Evangelist shares comments on the daily Gospel verse, having a relationship with Jesus, and possibilities for further reflection. Ideal for small groups or individual use.

I like the sound of this course; my one concern is regarding those (relatively few) who do not have access to a computer. Will they be able to read the text of the daily video talk, and if so, how?

      Hi John.

The prayer journals are self-sufficient. Once a participant has the journal, either by ordering through Amazon or printing the free pdf, they can lead themselves through the Lenten program. As in years past, the Brothers have videos that accompany the Lenten series and will also send out daily emails that include prayers and prompts.
If you are choosing to use this as a small group program, participants will need a prayer journal; facilitators will need access to the facilitation guide if they are new to facilitating and to the weekly curriculum guides. These guides will be available via pdf next week, but will need online access to download. Once downloaded, they are complete.

When you scroll all the way down on the first page – without clicking through – there are name and email fields to fill in to receive the emails. When you get to the video of the Presiding Bishop, you’ve scrolled too far!
